Chris Pratt reveals why he prefers traveling with TUMI

It’s looking to be a really good year for Hollywood action star, Chris Pratt. When not busy zapping baddies on the big screen, the leading man from Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers spends his downtime tending to his farm located on San Juan Island in Washington State, or jet-setting across the globe with his favourite luggage essentials from TUMI.

Earlier this month, Pratt made his maiden voyage to Hong Kong to celebrate the launch of his official campaign with the luxury travel and lifestyle brand featuring TUMI’s new Alpha 3 and Alpha Bravo collections. Here’s what else the Hollywood hotshot revealed during his  group interview with select members of the media:

What made you want to be part of this TUMI Campaign?

I only ever promote products I actually use in real life. It’s all been very organic. We met with the TUMI team in LA; got along really well, and we went straight ahead to shoot the first Campaign. And now I’m in Hong Kong, which is just incredible!

What first appealed to you about the brand?

TUMI products are sleek, stylish, and they are built to last. They’ve been my choice of luggage for a long time. I’ve always trusted TUMI as my go-to bags on my trips around the world.

Which TUMI bag accompanies you everywhere?

My current favorites are Alpha 3 Brief Pack and Alpha 3 Carry-on.

What features do you look for in great luggage?

Sturdiness and durability are really the most important features to me. TUMI products are incredibly durable and will last for years and years. Because I travel so frequently and for long periods of time if I’m off to shoot a film on location, I need luggage that can take a beating without falling apart.

What feature of a TUMI bag has surprised you most?

So many – in a good way! Just to pick one – I love the 360 wheels – they roll exceptionally well on almost any type of surface.

What first drew you to the brand?
