The winners of the Prestige Awards 2020 received their acknowledgment plaques over an intimate celebratory lunch at Basilico on Mar 24.

Presented by Burda Luxury managing director Lena Kwek, the awards were handed to Patron Award recipient Mildred Tan, Titan Award recipient Chan Soo Khian, and Vanguard Award recipient Ng Yi Ming. 

It was an afternoon of new friendships, scintillating conversation and genuine camaraderie among the guests, which also included Ling Fu, Chan’s wife and founder of international handbag label llora. The Prestige team was represented by editor-in-chief Yanni Tan and editor-at-large Mavis Teo. 

The lunch was a seven-course Italian culinary extravaganza served in the Regent Singapore restaurant’s stylish private room. Sumptuous and elegant, the meal took the party on a journey through Italy with dishes like a tuna and red prawn tartare, a creamy yet light heirloom beetroot risotto, a wagyu beef sirloin with foie gras, and a delightful tiramisu layered with textures including espresso coffee gel.
