Soramon “Ploy” Urapeepatanapong is a freelance legal consultant who previously worked in the financial services practice group of a leading law rm. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University, she joined the World Bank in Washington D.C. as a Paralegal in the Office of Suspension and Debarment; the first level of adjudication in the World Bank’s sanctions system, where her work involved assisting in issuing cases and anti-corruption-related research. Upon receiving a scholarship, she also pursued her Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Cambridge, and worked at the Thailand Institute of Justice as a Policy and Research Officer, where her work centered on women’s access to justice. Most recently, she completed a second Bachelor’s degree in law from Chulalongkorn University, graduating with first class honours.
