Much more than a prominent figure in Thai television, Sririta is also a successful model, mentor, and the driving force behind Organika House, a venture born out of her appreciation of the benefits of aromatherapy.

In an exclusive interview with Prestige, she shares her inspiring personal and professional journey, giving insights into the delicate balance she’s been able to strike as a result of prioritising the essential value of “self-love”.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your professional journey thus far?

Investing time and energy to diversify my talents has opened doors to many opportunities, and so a significant aspect of having my platform involves providing opportunities for knowledge that may be inaccessible to others. Leveraging my privilege, to make a positive impact on society, has become a very important aspect of my life, and my worldview has expanded beyond personal growth to focus on also contributing to the well-being of others.

Beyond your professional persona, you are well-known for your philanthropy. What are some of the causes you’re passionate about?

Motherhood has intensified my passion for working with children, driving my philanthropic focus towards their well-being. I’m deeply involved in education, collaborating with organisations to provide children with opportunities to learn valuable skills. Moreover, as an ambassador for The Children’s Hospital Foundation, I’m always working to raise funds, with last year’s efforts surpassing 20 million baht. This year, we aim to reach 50 million baht, which will go towards purchasing and maintaining specialised equipment. Beyond these projects, I’m also a Distinguished Member of the UNHCR’s Leading Women Fund, and I often contribute to my husband’s philanthropic efforts to maximise our impact.

What inspired you to venture into the world of wellness and establish Organika House?

My journey into the world of wellness stems from a profound connection to aromatherapy and its positive impact on my well-being. Combining my personal love for sensory indulgence with Thailand’s celebrated centuries-old spa expertise, I wanted to elevate wellness experiences available even further.

How did you conceptualise Organika House, and what are some of the important core pillars behind the brand?

Organika House encompasses a spa, restaurant, and retail offerings, and aims to showcase Thailand’s wellness prowess, prioritising quality of ingredients and local talent. One of our core pillars is that we focus on all five senses, through carefully curated experiences, to transport individuals to a stress-free realm.

What would you like to recommend to our readers from Organika House’s diverse offerings?

I believe our Massage Candle is a standout product. Crafted from soybean wax, it doubles as a massage oil once the candle has been lit. It is being used by many spas and hotels, and I believe this product epitomises Organika House’s dedication to crafting unique offerings.

What is your long-term vision for Organika House?

My long-term vision involves growing the brand, so it finds recognition on the international stage. In the coming months, I have exciting plans to diversify the brand’s product line and services in order to work towards these goals and appeal to even broader audiences.

How do you balance the demands of work and personal life with such grace?

Organising time efficiently is crucial. Detailed schedules, early nights, and a positive mindset help me balance my many priorities. I have a detailed day-to-day schedule that covers everything from outfits of the day to morning routines, and this allows me to navigate each day seamlessly, as planning ahead saves me valuable time. Moreover, I make a conscious effort to foster a positive mindset. When I encounter setbacks, I approach them with optimism, as shifting perspectives turns challenges into welcome opportunities.

With a diverse portfolio of pursuits, how do you stay motivated and practice self-care?

My approach to self-care is all about maintaining physical health and mental strength. Prioritising exercise, meditation, and having a healthy relationship with myself are essential to my ability to remain motivated. Limiting social media exposure where possible, spending valuable time with loved ones, and fostering a strong inner circle have all contributed to how I manage to live a balanced life.

Many look up to you as a role model. What valuable advice can you offer the next generation?

My advice is to avoid being solely self-focused. In an increasingly digitalised and individualistic society, we need to remember that it is our collective responsibility to work towards bettering society, and to uphold the kindness our kingdom is known for. It’s important to work towards balancing the importance of one’s online presence with the real-world as it can be easy to become carried away and lose sight of the important things.

Together, you and Korn are quite the power couple. What qualities about him do you admire, and how do you complement each other?

One of the things I love about our partnership is that Korn and I navigate challenges with mutual respect, and we’re committed to never saying something we might regret, as words hold so much power. We are each other’s pillar of support, and our days are dotted with small, consistent, caring gestures that help foster a healthy relationship. One of Korn’s values that I admire is his love and respect for his parents. This is a trait that my son has begun to mirror, as he showers us with affection and respect every day.

You are undoubtedly a fashion icon. How would you describe your personal style, and how has it evolved?

I used to care a lot more about following new trends, but now my style has evolved from bold experimental looks to more sophisticated, age-appropriate silhouettes. Despite that, I still love to explore vibrant colours and prints. In my opinion, fashion is fun, and an extension of who you are, so I still love to be playful with my approach.

What criteria do you apply when looking for things to invest in for your wardrobe?

Rather than following trends, I focus on investing in timeless, quality pieces. Brands with a history of craftsmanship and a commitment to quality guide my wardrobe choices. The same applies to jewellery. I look for craftsmanship above all, and pieces that incorporate my favourite stones: diamonds, emeralds, and blue sapphires.

Can you share a memorable beauty tip that you’ve discovered through your career?

The importance of consistent skincare! I have naturally dry skin, so I regularly moisturise and apply sunscreen, which in the long run has contributed to a healthy complexion. Invest in your skin, find a suitable regimen, and stick with it for long-term benefits.
