UNICEF Next Gen Champion Lalisa Srichawla Hosts a Vintage Tea Party

The city’s young generation of game-changers gathered at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan, for a vintage themed high tea party, hosted by UNICEF Next Gen member Lalisa Srichawla in support of children’s rights.

It’s said that a cup of tea makes for the perfect excuse to share great thoughts among great minds. Understanding this, Bangkok’s young intellectuals and rising generation of visionaries gathered on Saturday August 18, at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan, for a tea party quite unlike any other. Hosted by Lalisa “Ren” Srichawla — a member of the Unicef Next Generation champions — the tea party was a gathering of empowerment and change, offering attendees the chance to get to know the UNICEF Next Generation initiative, while enjoying an afternoon of sweet treats for a good cause.

What is UNICEF Next Generation?

UNICEF Next Generation is a group of young leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators who commit their resolve, resources, and passion towards UNICEF’s mission of bettering lives. Through studying issues that affect children all across the globe, and taking action on behalf of the most vulnerable, members of the group aim to mobilize their communities, and inspire the younger generation to be proactive in bringing positive change.

The Vintage High Tea Party: What Went Down?

Set on a Saturday afternoon at Medici Restaurant, the city’s youthful visionaries and leaders were seen gathered in an array of vintage-inspired outfits, from vibrant gowns, to eye-catching hairpieces. There, they were treated to an afternoon of inspiring speeches from UNICEF, along with a series of scrumptious delicacies, and special tea-infused cocktails from the hotel’s head bar manager. Bubbly-fueled mingling and networking among like-minded individuals aside, a portion of the proceeds went towards supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work.
