Luke Thompson’s rakish character Benedict Bridgerton may be busy hooking up with Lady Tilley Arnold in season 3, but in real life, he is reportedly dating his co-star Harriet Cains, who plays his good neighbour Philippa Featherington.

Thompson and Cains were photographed at Vanity Fair’s Rising Stars party in January, with them hugging and him even kissing her head in one snap that started the whole dating speculation.

Also, in an Instagram post from January 2021, Cains shared a picture of Thompson decorated with heart emojis and captioned it “my favourite Luke soz @lukenewtonuk.” While the two are yet to go official with their relationship, that post is enough to confirm to fans that they are a thing.

Bessie Carter and Sam Phillips

Lord Debling (played by Sam Phillips) is the newest and hunkiest entrant in Bridgerton season 3. He is the most eligible bachelor of the lot and many girls’ ultimate love fantasy. However, in real life, this hot Lord is allegedly dating another Featherington sister, Bessie Carter, who plays Prudence.

Neither has confirmed their relationship but they have been photographed together at a few red-carpet events, including one with Bessie’s mum, actress Imelda Staunton, giving rise to dating rumours.

In another unusual Bridgerton cast dating tale, Claudia Jessie, who plays happy spinster Eloise Bridgerton in the show, has been in a relationship with the show’s casting director Cole Edwards since the beginning of the series.

Speaking to The Guardian in April 2024 about her audition for Eloise, she said, “I got a job and a fella on the same day. It was a great day for me, wasn’t it?”
