Log in for the first time

When your administrator invites you to a Sekoia workspace, you receive an email with a link to set your password and access the platform. This article walks you through the process from invitation to your first successful login.

Before you begin

Check that you have:

  • Received a Sekoia invitation email from no-reply@sekoia.io
  • Access to the email address the invitation was sent to

Did not receive the invitation?

Check your spam or junk folder. If the email is not there, ask your workspace administrator to resend the invitation from Settings > Users.

Step 1: Accept the invitation

  1. Open the invitation email.
  2. Click the Set your password link.

The link is valid for 24 hours. If it has expired, ask your administrator to resend the invitation.

Step 2: Set your password

  1. Enter a password in the Password field.
  2. Enter the same password in the Confirm password field.
  3. Click Set password.

Step 3: Identify your region URL

Sekoia is available across multiple regions. The URL you use to access the platform depends on the region where your workspace is hosted.

Use the correct URL

If you use a region URL that does not match your workspace, you will not be able to log in. Ask your administrator which region your workspace uses.

Step 4: Log in

  1. Navigate to your region URL in your browser.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Log in.

If your workspace has two-factor authentication (2FA) required or if you have already enabled it on your account, you will be prompted to enter your verification code at this step.

Step 5: Complete your profile

On your first login, review your profile settings:

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the navigation menu.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Confirm your display name and contact information.

Troubleshooting login issues

Problem What to do
Invitation link expired Ask your administrator to resend the invitation from Settings > Users
Forgotten password Click Forgot password on the login page and enter your email address
Cannot reach the login page Verify you are using the correct region URL (see Step 3 above)
2FA code not accepted Check that the time on your device is synchronized; if needed, ask your administrator to reset your 2FA
